Red Bull Racing introduced an electronic scooter in the style of F1 cars

Formula 1 race cars are packed with the latest, most expensive technologies and materials. All the more respectful is Red Bull Racing’s decision to “share” them with people who are far from F1, but who are familiar with the feeling of speed.

For them, the company has developed an electric scooter RBS#01, made, like the famous racing cars, from carbon fiber. The scooter weighs about 25 kg and is highly durable, ensuring resistance to shocks and falls. The RBS#01 has a 750-watt motor capable of accelerating up to 45 km/h and is powered by a 15Ah/760W⋅h lithium 50-volt battery. A charge lasts for 5 hours of operation and a range of up to 60 km.

The electric scooter chassis is solid aluminum alloy wheels with wide 28×14-15.2 cm tires, which allows riders to feel confident on corners and rough roads. Braking is provided by four-piston hydraulic disc brakes. In addition, the RBS#01 has an LCD control panel, front headlight and rear light. It is designed for a weight of the driver up to 120 kg and has a reliable protection against water.

The RBS#01 is priced at $6,000. Sales are scheduled to begin next summer.
