Mariah Bell is suspected of deliberately injured to South Korean representative Lim Eun-soo at ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2019 in Saitama, Japan. According to The Straits Times,the incident occurred during the warm-up before the women’s short programme. Bell collided with Lim Eun-soo and cut her leg with her skate.
It is noted that representatives of the South Korean filed a complaint against an American figure skater, regarding her actions as intentional, focusing on the fact that Lim Eun-soo was skating close to the edge of the rink so as not to disturb another skaters.
At the end of the short program, Bell placed sixth, and Lim Eun Soo – fifth. Before an arbitrary program, they will also go out to warm up in the same group.
Earlier it was reported that after the short programme Alina Zagitova held over two hours at doping control until late at night.
