Arizona Attorney Mark Brnovich accused Biden of hypocrisy for sending troops to Ukraine
Mark Brnovich accused U.S. President Joe Biden of “hypocrisy” in connection with his statement on military aid to Ukraine. Brnovich believes that the Biden administration has misplaced its priorities against the backdrop of the migration crisis at the border.

Brnovich stated that Biden needs to visit the border to see the “devastation” that is occurring in Arizona. In his view, the blame for the migration crisis lies “solely with the president,” and so to shift the focus to Ukraine at this time makes no sense.
“I think this is the height of hypocrisy. The president is willing to risk our children to secure the Ukrainian border. Meanwhile, millions of drugs are flooding across the southern border. Millions of people in the country are in danger as a result of the Biden administration’s failure to secure our own border,” he said.
The U.S. is currently experiencing a migrant crisis, with detention camps overflowing and refugees continuing to arrive. In September, more than 15,000 people, mostly from Haiti, set up a spontaneous camp under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas. Attempts to control the number of refugees have led to several major scandals and criticism of Biden’s migration policy.
The increase in refugee flows is directly related to the current president’s repeal of Donald Trump’s anti-illegal relocation measures. Biden’s decision not to deport minors has led to an increase in the number of children who cross the border on their own and remain on U.S. soil. In October 2021, the number of detained refugees rose 128% over the same period last year to 164,000.
