Oil reserves in the U.S. rose by 515 thousand barrels
Commercial oil reserves in the U.S. over the past week rose by 515 thousand barrels and totaled 413.813 million barrels on January 14, reported the U.S. Department of Energy.
Herewith, analysts, interviewed by Bloomberg agency, were expecting the reduction of reserves by 1.75 million barrels.
March futures for Brent crude oil on London’s ICE exchange rose 0.45% to $88.84 a barrel, while WTI crude was up 0.83% to $86.51 a barrel.
