National Security Advisor John Robert Bolton is pushing American leader Donald Trump to a military operation in Venezuela.
It is reported by The Washington Post, citing current and former Trump assistants.
According to the newspaper, the head of the United States has no particular desire to invade a Latin American country, and in an interview with his entourage, notes that Bolton wants to drag him into the war in Venezuela.
However, the sources informed that the American leader gave Bolton broad authority over the situation with Venezuela.
Vice President of Venezuela Delcy Rodríguez provided the following comment “The U.S government shamelessly and immorally acknowledges its authorship in this criminal attempted coup in Venezuela! They show to the world their desire to destroy our Homeland! The Venezuelan people will continue to defeat the imperial aggressions in peace! Long Live VENEZUELA.”
