Trump urged Biden to resign amid situation in Afghanistan
Former United States Republican President Donald Trump believes that the current White House leader, Democrat Joe Biden, should resign amid the situation in Afghanistan.
“It’s time for Joe Biden to resign in shame for allowing what happened to Afghanistan to happen, along with the huge wave of COVID, the disaster on the border, the destruction of our energy independence and our damaged economy. It’s not going to be a big deal because he wasn’t legally elected,” Trump said in a statement released on Twitter Sunday by Republican spokeswoman Liz Harrington.
On April 14, Biden announced his decision to end the operation in Afghanistan, which has become the longest overseas military campaign in American history.
