Former US President Donald Trump won a convincing victory by the results of the Republican kokus in the state of Iowa. This is evidenced by the results of counting 100% of the votes, which are published on the website of the Republican Party in Iowa.

According to the results of voting, Trump received 51% of the votes of supporters of the Republican Party. In second place is Florida Governor Ron Desantis with 21.2% of the vote, followed by former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and former governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley with 19.1% of the vote. Haley beat Trump in only one county in the state – Johnson County. In the remaining 98, the former US president is leading.

Businessman Vivek Ramaswamy received 7.7% of the vote but announced his withdrawal from the US presidential race. He has said he intends to support Trump in the coming election.

With the Iowa caucuses, which took place on January 15, the selection of Republican Party candidates for the US presidential election actually began.
