Trump believes that gasoline prices in the U.S. will continue to rise

Fuel prices in the United States will continue to rise, because of the policies of the current U.S. administration, the country is waiting for a shock. This was the opinion expressed by former U.S. President Donald Trump.

“The beautiful Midwestern states are paying $4-5 a gallon, I believe California is paying about $8, but we’re going to see prices much higher,” he said on Fox News Channel. “It’s going to be a shock the country hasn’t experienced in a very long time,” Trump added.

Many members of Congress have stubbornly argued that such a situation is solely due to Moscow’s actions. Despite critical statements from representatives of the Republican Party that prices were rising long before the start of the special operation in Ukraine, Democratic politicians insist that Russia is to blame.

The cost of gasoline at gas stations in the U.S. has updated to an all-time high for the third consecutive day, topping $4.31 per gallon of Regular on Thursday. In California, the price of a gallon of gasoline has already surpassed $5. The increase in fuel prices has accelerated noticeably after the U.S. and other Western countries imposed sanctions against Russia.
