US President Donald Trump accused the Democrats of fabricating the Mueller report on the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, and called for people who have committed “serious crimes” to respond and bring to justice. According to him, it could be an espionage and treason.
Earlier on Friday, the President of the United States wrote on Twitter: “….big, fat, waste of time, energy and money – $30,000,000 to be exact. It is now finally time to turn the tables and bring justice to some very sick and dangerous people who have committed very serious crimes, perhaps even Spying or Treason. This should never happen again!”
“The Fake News Media is doing everything possible to stir up and anger the pols and as many people as possible seldom mentioning the fact that the Mueller Report had as its principle conclusion the fact that there was NO COLLUSION WITH RUSSIA. The Russia Hoax is dead!”
Mueller’s report on the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, the Trump team’s “conspiracy” with the Russian authorities, and whether the US President obstructed justice, was published on Thursday. On the first point, Muller came to a positive conclusion, on the second – to a negative one, and on the third one he could not make an unequivocal conclusion. The report was published with significant reductions.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said earlier that the Russian Federation did not interfere in any elections. He also noted that the situation in America is an indicator of the internal crisis of the political system.
Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov noted that the published Muller’s report does not contain reasoned evidence of “Russian interference” in the US elections, Russia still does not accept such accusations.
