The Aerogami Jacket by Nike will provide runners with automatic ventilation

Nike announced the launch of a new jacket for runners. It is called the Aerogami and is capable of activating automatic ventilation as soon as a person starts to sweat. This will save runners from having to unzip, which can add comfort to a morning run. The innovative system requires no power and uses no electronics or AI.

The proposed effect is based on the use of innovative materials. By coming in contact with sweat particles, they can open vents located on the back and chest. Due to the inflow of cool air, an optimal temperature regime is achieved. When a person stops sweating, the holes close and the jacket begins to accumulate heat. In addition, the jacket uses Nike Storm-FIT ADV fabric, which provides heating, cooling and protection to certain areas of the body.

Nike has tried to take into account the peculiarities of the body structure of men and women, releasing two versions Aerogami. The jacket will be on sale in brand stores in July, while the men’s version will be offered in autumn. Prices have not yet been announced.
