President Biden was diagnosed with COVID-19

President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with COVID-19. The statement stresses that Biden is “fully vaccinated, revaccinated twice and experiencing very mild symptoms. He has begun taking pacloid. As recommended by the CDC, he will remain (in) isolation at the White House and will continue to perform all of his duties during this time. He has been in contact with White House staff by phone this morning and is going to participate in scheduled White House meetings this morning by phone and via Zoom from his residence.”

To ensure full transparency about Biden’s health status, the White House will provide daily updates on the matter.

In accordance with White House protocol for dealing with the coronovirus, Biden will work in isolation until he tests negative.

In accordance with standard protocol for any case of a positive coronavirus test at the White House, the White House medical department will inform all persons with whom the president of the United States was in contact on Wednesday’s trip to Massachusetts, including members of Congress and members of the press. The president’s last test for COVID, which came back negative, was on Tuesday.
