“Omicron will be the last acute phase of the pandemic

Bill Gates believes that the omicron strain of coronavirus will be the last acute phase of the pandemic and lead to its end.

“My hope is that the wave of disease caused by the Omicron strain of coronavirus will be the last acute phase of the pandemic,” Gates noted. At the same time, he expressed fears that everyone will soon forget about this pandemic and switch to other crises.

“That’s why the message right now should be: we should all prepare intelligently for other pandemics,” Gates stressed, noting that the investment in pandemic preparedness is small compared to the damage caused by it.

Bill Gates believes that money should be invested in three main areas: monitoring possible outbreaks, international research related to diagnosis and treatment of patients, and development of health care systems. “This pandemic was a tragedy for everyone. We were lucky, it could have been ten times more dangerous.”

Bill Gates wrote a book called How to Prevent the Next Pandemic. In it, he described the steps by which pandemics can be avoided in the future, as well as provide better health care for all people on the planet. The book is expected to be published on May 3.
