Those who have not developed antibodies to the coronavirus after illness or vaccination should be vaccinated early. Lack of protection occurs not only in those who have had a mild form of the virus, but also with a severe course. In these cases, immunologists should be consulted and a booster vaccine, i.e. an additional dose of the vaccine, may be administered ahead of schedule.

Immunologists, in turn, urge to consult with specialists, as the lack of antibodies may be an individual characteristic of the body. A person in general may not produce antibodies, give immunity, but not the formation of antibodies.

Since the pandemic began, more than 251 million cases of the coronavirus have been reported worldwide. About 5.07 million people have become victims of the disease caused by the infection. The situation was most difficult in the USA, India and Brazil.

Vaccination remains the surest way to protect against coronavirus. The vast majority of patients in hospitals are unvaccinated. At the end of September, the WHO stated that mortality from SARS-CoV-2 is associated with a failure to receive preventive immunization.
