Fashion is not only expensive and stylish clothes, but also cars. The fidelity of this thesis was recently confirmed by Mercedes-Benz and the fashion brand Moncler, who developed in collaboration the amazing Mondo car. No matter how strange it may sound, but when creating it the designers were inspired by blowing ski jackets. This is clearly visible in such details of the car as big puffy wheels, and the “cherry on the cake” was the zipper on the visor on top.
The Mondo’s design isn’t just good. It’s bright and unusual. The sheen of the silver parts reminds you of a kind of “space capsule,” and some of the exposed parts look as if they’ve been rusting without paint for a long time, rather than having just been released by the factory. Something similar is done, for example, with guitars and jeans, where the wood and fabric are artificially aged. Things become “sight-seen” and you can be sure that they could tell more than one story about the adventures of their former owners.
In fact, the Mondo car is a work of art. It was shown at London Fashion Week during the Moncler live show. In the short video below, you can see how harmoniously this car fits into the “ice desert” scenery.
