Mark Zuckerberg to train with UFC champions before his fight with Ilon Musk
Mark Zuckerberg is training with current UFC champions New Zealand’s Israel Adesanya and Australia’s Alexander Volkanovski.
The reigning UFC middleweight champion posted joint photos with Zuckerberg and Volkanovski taken during the workout. “No jokes with Mark. This is serious business,” Adesanya signed off. Zuckerberg shared the post on his page and commented: “It’s an honor to train with you guys.”
Adesanya is a two-time holder of the UFC middleweight championship belt. He is ranked fifth in the official rankings of the championship’s top fighters regardless of weight class. Volkanovski currently shares the number one ranking with American fighter Jon Jones. The Australian recently defended his featherweight title.
Zuckerberg’s opponent Ilon Musk is also busy preparing for the fight. He recently trained with Canadian mixed martial arts fighter Georges St. Pierre, jiu-jitsu and mixed martial arts coach John Danaher, and jiu-jitsu black belt and blogger Lex Friedman.
On June 22, Zuckerberg agreed to settle the relationship in a fight with Musk, who challenged him to a bout after information surfaced online about Meta’s intentions to launch an app that would compete with Twitter. The businessmen agreed to fight in an arena in Las Vegas. The UFC president believes the bout will take place and become the most watched fight in history.
