Madonna was hospitalized with a bacterial infection

Madonna has been hospitalized and spent several days in intensive care due to a bacterial infection. This was announced by her manager Guy Ozri.

“On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection that led to a stay for several days in the ICU,” he wrote on Instagram.

Ozri also added that the singer’s condition is improving, but she will be monitored by doctors until she fully recovers.

Due to the illness, all of Madonna’s events, including her anniversary tour, will be canceled.
