The U.S. has announced the construction of the largest bioreactors for the production of artificial meat.

Good Meat stated that the bioreactors will allow to grow more than 13 thousand tons of chicken and beef per year. Cells taken from cage banks or eggs will be used in the production.

Proponents of artificial meat say it is almost indistinguishable from conventional meat and there is no need to slaughter livestock to produce it.
