Harris is ahead of Trump in support in four swing states
Donald Trump is trailing U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris in voter support in four swing states out of seven that are likely to determine the outcome of the presidential race in November.
This is according to the released results of a poll conducted by Bloomberg and Morning Consult.
Harris holds an advantage over Trump in Arizona (49% of those polled to 47%), Wisconsin (50% to 47%), Michigan (53% to 42%), and Nevada (47% to 45%). In Georgia, the contenders for the state’s highest office garnered similar levels of support (47%). Trump is ahead of Harris in Pennsylvania (50% to 46%) and North Carolina (50% to 46%).
Overall, Harris is ahead of Trump by 1 percentage point (pp) – 48% of respondents to 47%. U.S. President Joe Biden was losing to Trump by 2 p. p. in a similar poll conducted and published by Bloomberg in early July (47% to 45%).
The poll was conducted between July 24 and July 28. Nearly 5 thousand American voters from seven states took part in it. The margin of error amounted to 1 p. p.
