Google Lens can now detect skin problems

The Google Lens app with image recognition has been available to smartphone users for five years. It can be used to scan texts, save handwritten notes, create calendar events, identify plants and animals, translate texts from any medium, recognize objects, and much more.

A new feature recently added to this extensive list is skin condition monitoring. Health-conscious people are sure to use it when they spot a suspicious growth on their skin – for example, an unusual mole or rash. This feature can be useful when contacting a dermatologist is difficult.

To get information, you need to point the camera lens at the problem area of the skin, and then the application will give a relevant link based on this image. The company said that Google Lens will be integrated into Bard’s chatbot, which will provide real-time feedback on user requests.

However, don’t rely entirely on Google Lens. In any case, only a dermatologist can make an accurate diagnosis after a thorough examination.
