Five people injured in L.A. beach shooting

At least five people were injured in a shooting at San Pedro Beach in Los Angeles, California. This was reported by the Los Angeles Times.

All five of the victims were hospitalized. A spokesman for the local police department said some of them were in critical condition.

Law enforcement said the suspect fled the scene. The beach where the incident occurred is closed for investigation.
