FBI searches for four Americans kidnapped in Mexico

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is searching for four Americans kidnapped by gunmen in Mexico.

The FBI is seeking the public’s help in identifying the people responsible for the attack and kidnapping of four U.S. citizens in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, on March 3, 2023.

FBI agents, U.S. federal authorities and Mexican law enforcement agencies are investigating. The U.S. authorities announced a reward of $50 thousand for the “return of the victims and the detention of those involved in this crime.

On March 3, four Americans in a white minivan crossed the border into the Mexican state of Tamaulipas. Shortly thereafter, unknown assailants opened fire on their vehicle. The gunmen then took everyone in the minivan out, put them in their vehicle, and drove them to an unknown destination.
