Elon Musk believes that the world economy is facing a difficult year and bankruptcy of many companies. He said this at a meeting of Tesla shareholders.

“There are difficult 12 months ahead, and Tesla is not immune to the global economic environment,” Musk said. Nevertheless, he believes that in a year the macroeconomic situation is “expected to turn around,” and “Tesla’s long-term investors will be fine.”

Musk denied rumors about his intention to leave his position as the head of Tesla, saying that “it is not so. He also noted that Tesla is preparing to release two new products that will be “a head above anything else on the market,” but did not elaborate on which developments he was talking about.
