Elon Musk admitted that he is sometimes treated for depression

Elon Musk admitted in an interview with former CNN anchor Don Lemon that he suffers from depression and takes medication for it.

“There are times when I get a kind of negative chemical state in my brain, a kind of depression that is not related to any negative news,” he said in the interview, which is published on the journalist’s X page.

Elon added that “ketamine helps him get out of the negative state.” According to Musk, he “does not abuse the drug” because “he cannot afford to stay for a long time in a state where he cannot think clearly.”

In addition, Elon Musk believes that he has a “genetic” predisposition to depression and claims that taking the drug has no effect on his companies and their government contracts.
