Chinese gamer posted on War Thunder forum secret military information

On the forum of fans of the video game “War Thunder” recently appeared an unusual post containing secret military information that was posted by a Chinese gamer.

As reported by the online publication Kotaku, it is not about demonstrating the capabilities of international espionage, but to encourage the developers of the tank video game to make it some changes that would make it more exciting.

This is the third such leak from secret archives to Internet forums. Last year British gamer posted here a secret tutorial about how to use the British tank, which caused quite a stir in the Ministry of Defense of his country. In continuation of this topic – another tank gamer published blueprints of a French tank.

In one of his latest posts a Chinese gamer provided a schematic of a Chinese tank’s combat shell. Deleting the classified information from the forum pages did not remedy the situation, as it had by then been safely circulated on social networks.

The moral of the story is simple: the imperfection of computer games is no excuse for publishing classified military information.
