Chinese engineers develop the world's largest military robot

According to a leading Chinese publication Global Times, the country has created the world’s largest bionic robot capable of carrying loads weighing up to 160 kg at a speed of about 10 kilometers per hour. In the future, it will carry the equipment of soldiers serving in remote areas.

This robot is the size of a hippopotamus and makes “marching” through the desert, overcoming steep slopes without much difficulty. Undoubtedly, when it is accepted into service, it will be able to do the toughest work, inaccessible to conventional army vehicles.

The robot can move forward, backward and diagonally and even, according to the report, perform jumps. Apparently, its main army occupation will be to deliver ammunition and food in mountainous and desert areas where other vehicles are powerless.

The report also notes that there will be a combat version to carry out reconnaissance missions.
