China demanded that the U.S. cancel a $108 million arms deal with Taiwan

China demands that the United States immediately cancel a $108 million arms and military services deal with Taiwan, the Chinese Defense Ministry said Monday.

“China demands that the United States immediately withdraw this plan to sell arms to Taiwan, stop all such arms sales and sever military ties between the United States and Taiwan,” Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman Tan Kefei said in a statement.
