Brian Hernandez smashed millions of dollars worth of artifacts in a museum in Texas

A hooligan who illegally broke into the Texas Museum of Art damaged several artifacts, resulting in more than $5 million in damage.

Brian Hernandez, 21, broke into the Dallas Museum of Art and vandalized and destroyed an ancient Greek amphora and a pot worth more than $5 million. He also vandalized a Greek bowl worth about $100,000 and a ceramic bottle of Caddo Indian pottery valued at $10,000.

The perpetrator was apprehended by security and then appeared in court, where he was charged with felony willful damage on a large scale, a crime for which he could face up to five years in prison. Hernandez was taken into custody with the possibility of release on $100,000 bail.
