Biden to speak at campaign event in New York on Sunday

President Joe Biden speaks in New York on Sunday, just two days before the midterm elections for Congress, in which Democrats will seek to maintain majorities in the House and Senate.

Former President Donald Trump speaks at a rally in Florida on the same day.

Biden is speaking in Westchester County, where Democrats usually win, but where Republicans also have a chance of success.

Recall that New York Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul faced an unexpectedly tough challenge from Republican Lee Zeldin.

Trump, meanwhile, will speak in Miami along with some senators and state representatives.

Key Democratic and Republican Party figures have been campaigning hard in recent weeks. On Saturday, Biden, Trump and Barack Obama spoke in Pennsylvania.

Recall that according to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll, 40 percent of Americans approve of Joe Biden’s performance as president.
