Apple plans to implement health monitoring features in AirPods

The U.S. IT company Apple is considering the possibility of introducing a health monitoring option into the AirPods wireless headphones.

In the coming years, Apple plans to add several “medical” functions to AirPods. In particular, the Cupertino-based company is considering turning its gadget into a device to improve hearing.

Today, these options are already partially available in Apple gadgets. For example, Apple Watch offers a wide range of health monitoring functions, and a version of the AirPods Pro headphones has the ability to amplify the voice to facilitate the ability of people with hearing impairments to communicate.
