Apple became the world’s most expensive brand in 2023

Apple’s brand has been recognized as the most expensive in the world according to the annual Brand Finance Global 500 ranking. The firm has overtaken competitors from Microsoft, Google and Amazon, the international consulting organization Brand Finance reported.

Apple’s brand value increased by 74% in 2023, reaching a mark of $517 billion. Microsoft Corporation took the second line in the list, the value of its brand amounted to $340 billion. The third place is occupied by Google, the brand value of which is estimated at $333 billion.

Brand Finance is a leading international consulting company in the field of brand valuation with offices in 20 countries. According to Brand Finance’s methodology, “brand strength” is calculated using a balanced scorecard, including an assessment of investment in marketing, equity and business performance.
