Six people were injured when a car struck participants in Saturday night’s street carnival in Los Angeles, California.
The vehicle reportedly drove through a crowd of street carnival participants. Six patients (30-50 years old) were examined and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the Los Angeles Times, hundreds of people participated in the carnival and some were forced to flee after the incident. The driver of the Porsche Cayenne vehicle struck the procession participants, according to police. He fled the scene until the police apprehended him, but law enforcement officers managed to locate the intruder’s car.
