German Chancellor Angela Merkel and US President Donald Trump discussed NATO and trade issues on the phone, said German government spokesman Steffen Seibert.
“Chancellor Angela Merkel and American President Donald Trump held a telephone conversation tonight. They exchanged views on a number of international issues, including positions on NATO, Ukraine and trade issues,” said in the press release made by The German Cabinet.
