Republicans missed their last chance to declare impeachment of Biden

Members of the Republican Party of the United States have actually missed the last opportunity to announce the impeachment of Joe Biden, as the next session of Congress will be held after the presidential election in November.

“I think it’s too late. Biden has already declared impeachment of himself,” declared, Tennessee Republican Tim Burchetta, who has been coordinating the impeachment investigation.

Lawmakers in the lower house of the U.S. Congress held their last vote on Wednesday, with the regular session scheduled for the second half of November, a week after the presidential election. Thus, the investigation against Biden is meaningless, as he has already dropped out of the election race.

The issue of Biden’s impeachment is raised in Congress not for the first time. Earlier, legislators Marjorie Taylor Green (Republican, from the state of Georgia) and Lauren Bobert (Republican, from the state of Colorado) repeatedly came forward with this initiative. House controlling Republicans are conducting an impeachment investigation of Democrat Biden. In this context, they are looking into, among other things, the financial affairs of the president’s brother and son.
