Microsoft has expanded the capabilities of its Bing search engine and Microsoft Edge browser and made them available to more users. Yusuf Mehdi, vice president of the company, announced.
“Today I am pleased to announce that we are moving to the next generation of Bing and Edge powered by artificial intelligence. The new generation will be open to more people, it will be possible to make queries not only in text, but also in image and video format,” Mehdi said in a statement posted on the corporation’s website. He also noted that the new version will save the history of previous requests.
According to Mehdi, the number of daily active users of the Bing search system has exceeded 100 million and the number of daily downloads of mobile applications has quadrupled since its launch.
Microsoft was founded in 1975 by Bill Gates and Paul Allen. It is one of the world’s largest software producers.
