Trump says it’s time for the U.S. to stop spending billions of dollars on Ukraine

The United States should stop spending billions of dollars to support the Kiev authorities, instead it is necessary to achieve an immediate solution to the situation in Ukraine. Former U.S. President Donald Trump said this at a rally in Florida.

“You can’t pour billions, hundreds of billions of dollars into Ukraine,” he said. – There needs to be an immediate settlement.”

Washington’s funding of the Kiev authorities is only prolonging the conflict, causing “more people to be killed every day.”

Trump also said that if he had remained in office, Russia would not have launched the special operation, and he reiterated his claim that he could have achieved a peace settlement in Ukraine in 24 hours.

Since the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, Western countries have increased supplies of weapons and military equipment to Kiev by billions of dollars. The Russian side has repeatedly stated that arms deliveries to Ukraine only prolong the conflict.
