At least 60 people were suffered as a result of ammonia leakage in the ice palace in the city of Straubing (federal state of Bavaria).
According to preliminary data, the leak occurred due to damage to one of the pipelines by an excavator. The injured (visitors of ice rink) complained of eye and respiratory irritation. Among them were firefighters and rescuers.
118 students of the local school and more than 70 local residents were evacuated. Police are urging residents to keep windows and doors closed.
