Former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson spoke about desire of mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Conor McGregor to acquire shares in the UFC company.
“Give me my rightful shares in the UFC company. That’s all I ask,” Conor said.
Tyson said that McGregor needed to talk less and fight more. In his opinion, the fighter needs to focus on sports, but not on business. ““ ’cause ownership is a whole different kinda game…,” and Mike seems to think McGregor should get his money the ol’ fashioned way — by kickin’ ass,” wrote TMZ.
On numerous occasions, McGregor has demanded ownership in the UFC. On March 19 the Irish fighter declared that he is ready to participate in the UFC fights, if he could to run the company.
The last fight he had against the Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018, McGregor lost to Nurmagomedov. After the fight McGregor was suspended for six months for throwing hands after the bell. He will be able to return to the Octagon on April 6th.
