“I am going to Washington to have a very important meeting with President Trump,” said the head of government before the flight.
According to him, they intend to discuss the Golan Heights and Trump’s “historical statement” on them, the Syrian crisis, relations with Iran, sanctions, as well as “unprecedented cooperation” between the two countries in the field of security and intelligence.
Earlier, Trump said it was time to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights.
